Aurelia Release Notes - Late January 2019

on2019 is off to a great start with another set of releases that address bugs and add new features to Aurelia. We're also continuing to enable more plugins for script-file deploy along the way. Of particular note is our recent improvements to the aurelia-ui-virtualization plugin for virtual and infinite scrolling. What? You didn't know there was an official plugin for that? Aurelia 2018 Year in Review

on2018 has been an amazing year for Aurelia! We've added long-time requested features and improvements, enabled new ways to deploy apps, shipped modern, no-hassle tooling, improved our documentation, built up financial backing, made huge advancements in our vNext implementation, and grown our core engineering team by adding six new amazing people! Wow!

Smoke House Project

onToday, I'm pleased to introduce you to Daryl Cober, a member of the Aurelia community who has been building out "Smoke House Project", a skeleton framework for desktop/web/mobile deployment using Aurelia, including a node Web API and a MongoDB. I'll let him share more about what he's working on and his journey to get there. Take it away Daryl!

The New Aurelia-CLI Auto-tracing Bundler

onToday, we're pleased to announce the Aurelia-CLI v1.0.0-beta.1 release! The official beta of our CLI now features a new built-in "auto-tracing" bundler, which greatly improves the capability, performance, and usability of the built-in bundler.
